Transpovia's private Orlando airport transportation takes you from MCO straight to your Disney or Universal resort, an International Drive hotel, a Kissimmee villa or the cruise terminal at Port Canaveral at a price fixed when you book — no meter, no surge. Your driver tracks your flight, meets you at the terminal and loads the bags, so there is no shuttle line, no resort-hopping stops and no rideshare wait. Choose a sedan for two, an SUV for the family or a 14-seat van for the whole group.
Landing at Orlando International Airport and heading to a Disney or Universal resort, a villa in Kissimmee, a hotel on International Drive, or a cruise ship at Port Canaveral? Transpovia's private Orlando airport transportation is a pre-booked car with a price fixed at booking, a driver who tracks your flight and waits at your terminal, and a vehicle sized for your party — from a sedan for two to a 14-seat van. Below: real drive times, an honest comparison with Mears Connect, Uber, taxis and rental cars, and exactly where your driver meets you in Terminals A, B and C.
MCO sits southeast of the city, about 20 miles from Walt Disney World and 45 miles from Port Canaveral. Most rides run on the SR-528 (Beachline), SR-417 and I-4 toll and expressway network, so the drive is usually quick outside peak hours. The slow windows are weekday afternoons on I-4 (3:30–6:30 pm), Sunday check-in surges at the resorts, and cruise-morning traffic on the 528 between 9 am and noon.

MCO has more ground-transportation choices than most US airports, and the right one depends on where you are staying, how many bags you have and how much waiting you are willing to do after a flight. Here is how they compare in practice:
Mears Connect (shared shuttle) — the replacement for Disney's Magical Express. Boards at Terminal B, Level 1; roughly $16 per adult one-way on the standard service, with a 20–45 minute wait to fill the coach and several resort stops before yours. Serves Disney resorts and a handful of partner hotels only — nothing to Universal, Kissimmee villas or Port Canaveral.
Uber and Lyft — pickup on Level 2 of Terminals A and B (Level 3 late at night) and outside Terminal C. Typically $35–55 to Disney off-peak, but prices surge when several flights land together, and a party of five with park luggage needs an XL.
Taxi — metered from the Level 1 stands; expect around $65–80 to the Disney resorts and $130 or more to Port Canaveral, plus tip, with the fare climbing in traffic.
Rental car — the counters are inside the terminal (Level 1), but add a SunPass or toll-by-plate charges, resort parking of $30 or more per night at Disney and the return trip on cruise morning. Only worth it if you plan to drive every day.
Lynx bus and SunRail — the cheapest way into the city, but Lynx routes 11, 42 and 111 take over an hour to I-Drive and none goes to a Disney resort. SunRail stops at the Terminal C station and runs weekdays only.
Brightline — the intercity train from the Terminal C station reaches West Palm, Fort Lauderdale and Miami in about 3.5 hours. Useful for South Florida, no help for the theme parks.
Pre-booked private car (Transpovia) — fixed price agreed when you book, driver tracking your flight and waiting at your terminal, no stops, no surge, and one vehicle for the whole party and its luggage. Read the full breakdown for the theme parks in our MCO to Disney World guide and for cruise passengers in our MCO to Port Canaveral guide.
For a solo traveler with a carry-on staying at a Disney resort, Mears Connect is hard to beat on price. For everyone else the numbers turn quickly: a family of four pays about the same for a shared coach with stops as for a private SUV that leaves the moment you sit down; a party of six needs two rideshares, or one van; and a cruise passenger with a 3 pm sailing cannot risk a shuttle that waits to fill. Late arrivals, Terminal C international landings, car-seat needs and villa addresses that shuttles do not serve are the other cases where a pre-booked car is simply the easier choice.
Orlando International has two terminal buildings. The North Terminal (Terminals A and B) handles most domestic carriers; Terminal C, opened in 2022, is home to JetBlue and most international airlines including British Airways, Lufthansa, Emirates, Aer Lingus, Norse, Azul and GOL. Your booking confirmation states your terminal and the pickup point, and your driver contacts you as soon as your flight lands.
Terminals A and B — baggage claim is on Level 2. Take the escalator down to Level 1 (Ground Transportation), where the town-car and limo curb is on the same side of the building as your airline (A side or B side). Your driver waits there with the vehicle.
Terminal C — baggage claim is on Level 6, just past customs for international arrivals. Follow the signs for Ground Transportation on Level 1; your driver meets you at the commercial-vehicle curb. Terminal C connects to A and B by a 4-minute automated train if you land in one and depart from the other.
Prefer to be met inside? Add a note at booking and we will arrange for the driver to meet you at baggage claim with a name sign wherever this is available.
Returning to MCO — we pick up at your resort lobby, villa door or cruise terminal at the time you choose, and we time cruise pickups for the disembarkation window so you are not paying for an hour of waiting.
The price you see in the booking form is agreed before you travel and does not change with traffic, the time of day or how busy the airport is. Every ride includes flight tracking, a waiting driver, luggage handling and a licensed, insured vehicle. Child and booster seats are available on request — tell us the ages of the children when you book so the seats are fitted before pickup, as Florida law requires a car seat for children under six. If a flight is delayed, your driver adjusts to the new arrival time; if it is cancelled, contact us through chat or WhatsApp and we will rebook or refund the ride.
The same fixed price applies on the way back, and for many travelers the return is the more useful booking: a set pickup time at the resort on check-out morning instead of a rideshare estimate, or a driver at the Port Canaveral terminal when your ship clears customs. Popular combinations are Disney World to Port Canaveral for a park-then-cruise week, Port Canaveral back to MCO after disembarkation, and one-way transfers on to Tampa Airport or Miami Airport when your trip ends on the other coast. Book each leg separately or add the return in the same form. First time in Central Florida? Our Orlando travel tips cover tolls, park days and the best times to travel on I-4.
Sedan — up to 3 passengers, 3 suitcases. Couples, solo travelers, business trips.
Executive sedan — up to 3 passengers, leather interior, water and phone chargers. Convention and corporate travel.
SUV — up to 5–6 passengers with park bags and a stroller. The usual choice for families heading to Disney or Universal.
Van (10 seats) — larger families and small groups; room for cruise luggage.
Van (14 seats) — multi-family villa groups, wedding parties and sports teams, with a luggage trailer available on request.

Landing at Terminal C after a long-haul flight? Your driver tracks the arrival, waits through customs and takes you straight to your resort — no app, no taxi line, no surprise fare.
Enter your date and resort in the booking form to see the exact fixed price for your vehicle — it is agreed before you travel and includes flight tracking and waiting time. For comparison, Mears Connect charges per person and stops at several resorts, a taxi meters at roughly $65–80 plus tip, and rideshare prices surge when flights land together.
In Terminals A and B, baggage claim is on Level 2; go down to Level 1 (Ground Transportation) and your driver waits at the town-car curb on your airline's side of the building. In Terminal C, collect your bags on Level 6 and follow signs to Ground Transportation on Level 1. Your confirmation states the exact point, and the driver contacts you when your flight lands. If you would rather be met inside baggage claim with a name sign, add a note at booking.
About 18–22 miles (30–35 km) depending on the resort, via SR-417 or SR-528 and I-4. The drive takes 25–35 minutes off-peak and up to 45 minutes on weekday afternoons. Your fixed price does not change if traffic is slow.
JetBlue and most international carriers — including British Airways, Lufthansa, Emirates, Aer Lingus, Norse, Icelandair, Azul, GOL and Caribbean Airlines. Everything else, including Southwest, Delta, American, United, Spirit and Frontier, uses Terminals A and B in the North Terminal. Tell us your airline when booking and we set the pickup terminal for you.
It depends on your party. Mears Connect is a shared coach from Terminal B that serves Disney resorts and a few partner hotels; it is cheap for one or two people but waits to fill, makes several resort stops and does not go to Universal, Kissimmee villas or Port Canaveral. A private car leaves when you sit down, goes anywhere, and for a family of four or more costs about the same per trip.
About 45 miles east on SR-528, usually 45–60 minutes. For a cruise sailing at 3–4 pm, most passengers book a pickup for a flight landing before noon. We time return transfers for the disembarkation window so you are not waiting at the terminal.
